| Whilst the literal meaning is obvious, the metaphor I think is about how life can be repititive - that drum beat whilst amazing is repititive and puts me off this song. "stooooned again" and other lyrics refer to doing the same thing everyday or at least routinely, and possibly along with some of Groundhog's Day's lyrics encourage variety to keep life interesting. Well for a while I got high every night and listened to Primus, now I do other things whilst still playing them occaisonally and it is more interesting/satisfying! | |
