this song gets me rocking out all the time... i always thought this song was about being beside ourselves all the time.. i mean.. like theres no actual war yet people are still suffering.. anyway i think this is a stupid interpretation i agree with infidelitywetrust anyway... :)

the first line is paraphrased from "i think i love you" by the partridge family it was in a commercial but it was so much better then that.

Suffering from something we're not sure of In a world there is no cure for These lives we live test negative for happiness Flat line, no pulse, but eyes open Single file like soldiers on a mission If theres no war outside our heads Why are we losing? like youd ont even know why youre fighting but you just keep doing it liek robots and its not really a war because there is no winner and theres no cure for it because it cant just be soled in an appropriate way and that there si no happiness involved...
