henry rollins is one of the worst song writers ever. he was alright for Black Flag but Rollins Band he sucks ass. this song probably has no point

"I make the colors go"...I believe Henry is saying he's putting things in "black and white" - minimalism is the underlying theme of the song (at least to my interpretation). "here I am keen eyed, my mind is low to the ground...and in my mind real time is mine and I know what I know" to know the basic (or "black and white") meaning of everything that surrounds you without clouding up its existence (ie: starving yourself) you're forcing yourself to reflect upon why things are the way they are - without catering to the commercialism that is so prevelant all around you. that's my take.

???? = Colous go/glow here I am keen eyed (not sure about these but better than ??? Great Rollins song just about going through life being strong and living off nothing and pushing through it to keep going.

At a Rollins Band show, Henry said right before this song that when he was young, his idols were the people on television who would come out of solitary confinement and when asked how they were say, "Fine, motherfucker." Apparently, this song is about such people.
