Song: Tears
Artist: Rufio
Album: Perhaps, I suppose...
Tabbed by: Nick Niles (Nick617@aol.com)
My version of the Rufio song; when this was written, I
couldn't find any tabs online so this is goings straight
from the CD.
Tune to Drop D for this song.
Play around with octaves that he might use in some parts.
Intro
G|-----------------------------------------------------|
D|*----------------------------------------------------|
A|*----------------------------------------------------|
D|---5-------7---8----1------3-------------------------|
Play this 2x
Chorus (played before the verse, and then repeated later)
G|-----------------------------------------------------|
D|*----------------------------------------------------|
A|*----------------------------------------------------|
D|----5-5555-3-0-0--1----------------------------------|
Play this 4x
Verse
(Same as the intro, but once the verse picks up, play faster)
G|-----------------------------------------------------|
D|*----------------------------------------------------|
A|*----------------------------------------------------|
D|---5-------7---8----1------3-------------------------|
Play this 2x
G|------------------------------------------------|
D|*-----------------------------------------------|
A|*-----------------------------------------------|
D|---55555---77--88888-11111111----3333333--------|
Then play this 2x
Play the Chorus 4x
Next play the intro 2x, and proceed for the second verse.
Chorus 4x again.
Bridge
G|--------------------------------------------|
D|*-------------------------------------------|
A|*-------------------------------------------|
D|---000-111--333333--------------------------|
"It's the light...behind the shadow..."
Solo
Could be played in either octave, I choose the high one.
One cool thing would be to embellish a little and make a
more melodic bassline here...a nice Gmin line or something?
G|-------------------------------------------------------|
D|*-----555-555--333-333--555-555--888-777---------------|
A|*------------------------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------------------------|
The |-----------| could be played also as |---------|
|-888-777---| |---------|
|-----------| |-111-000-|
|-----------| |---------|
Play the Chorus again 4x, and that's the song!!

| This song means so much to me, they tell it like it is. No words can express how you feel when someone you care about isn;t in your life anymore, but tears can. In the song it say "the pooring rain from my eyes, it means to much to keep inside"is my favorite line. i think that line pertically means when you feel like you need to cry dont keep it in, because whatever you are crying about means a lot to you and you need to express it somehow. | |
