	When I first heard this song I thought It's about this person who wants to move on after his broken relasionship, forget about the past and try out new things.. but I'm all confused and stuff and after I've seen the video.. How the hell they've related the video to this song?

	it's about a guy who had been tormented by his girlfriend..they were happy but there were bad times that hurt him more..and most of the times, he felt lost...he was loosing his identity and when everything is over..he wanted to do something in his own way...something that can make him feel better...and at the same time, he's confused..whether to go back to his gf or to continue to pull away and do whatever he feels better..

	i believe its about this girl who finds it hard to trust people (read men) around her after her dad left her when she's young.. after she is betrayed again by a perverted teacher, she turns to drugs and alcohol in disillusionment. it is in a haze of these substances that she meets a guy who could change her view but when he is killed in a car crash she realises she needs to clean up her lifein order to lead it fuller and let go of the past... tho sung in a masculine tone, its about her

	I agree with Devil diya explanation. This song refers to a person that after the experience she´s gone through in life doesn´t take life by using judgement at all. She will go by the things that release those bad memories even when the result is not right. Just for the excitement of forget for a while and let the time show up the results. The descriptive detil about the video is just as devils diya has typed it down up there.

	i've been thinking about it, and now i think it's about finding yourself and knowing who you are. like people do things (drinking,drugs,self mutilation, etc.) to "feel better", yet it usually causes problems (like death). Maybe the car crash was like a reality check to the girl, as in she needs to wake up & realize what she's doing.

	I'm not sure what this song's about either. Well i kind of am. I think it's about someone leaving their partner because they knew they weren't truly happy with them. Or perhaps their partner wasn't telling them everything. And that made the other person sad.. So they left to make their life better. And wanted to search for someone else who they could love and be loved back by them, not have any problems and tell each other everything. Like true love. And the car crash bit in the video.. well i'm not sure what that's about, but it could symbolise when the person's life came crashing to the ground so they thought they'd leave then. And kinda restart their life... maybe??

	Awesome song. Though Santana is awesome. This song shoulda just been "Aerosmith - Just Feel Better", cause Santana, just plays the guitar, which the guitarist in Aerosmith could've done. And I'm not sure what the song was about, I guess just doing what's right and feeling better.

	I just watched the video and I was mainly paying attention to what was happening to the girl and not him, so I'm not sure what half of the video means... I think that moismymonkey15 is right, that people will do anything to "just feel better" when they're depressed or angry such as cutting, drinking, drugs, etc. The girl was left by her dad at a young age because of her parents constant fighting. This makes it hard for her to trust anyone, because she's afraid of getting hurt again. Her friend/boyfriend is the only one who understands her, who she can trust, and who doesn't ignore her feelings: She said I need you to hold me I'm a little far from the shore And I'm afraid of sinking You're the only one knows me And who doesn't ignore That my soul is weeping Then he dies in a car crash and she's lonely again. I might be way wrong here, but that's just how I see it.

	Maybe, the song with the video, means that the girl had a guy..she broke up with him..found another guy, suddenly lost him...and wants to move on. But she needs someone to help her move on, and she's asking for someone to help her. And the video, with the pervert teacher and everything shows that things aren't going her way and it definitly isn't helping her current situation and that she's falling apart, so she needs someone to help her soon. Idk.

	it IS "I"m tired of holding on, to all the things I oughta leave behind" This song isn't about the guy, he's telling a story about what she told him. the video is just showing why she doesn't trust people and feels like she can't move on, then the car crash is her wake up call because after that you see her happy at home and doing homework

	really lovin this song...reminds me of a fella i used to be with but not n a steady relationship with..just always kissed him and stuff but then we just kinda drifted apart for a wile and wen we got n touch again i found out he had a girlfriend but i got on well with her cos he woz happy. they broke up,we kissed again and then she revealed she's pregnant and he's still with her but apparently he's not happy but everytime i see him he's tellin me how much he loves me and that i'm the only person that gets him and everythin,kinda hard to take cos i'm a bit of a commitment freak but its just so confusin with the girlfriend and everythin, but anyways yeah..this song really reminds me of him and our situation.

	Scracth that. I've probably listened to this song more than 100 times and I don't care what anyone else says (even if it was Steven Tyler himself) it's deffinetely "I've tried holding on to all the things I ought to leave behind." I have looked it up on other places on the net and they all say it's "Long to hold you in my arms", so I'm not sure what's going on...
