| I think of it being about the temptations of good and evil. "Put your lights on" is a reference to a halo. The sinners, lovers and killers are told to put them on. The children are told to leave them on. | |

| It's about being a child. "She says i got nothing to fear" - his mother. actually cadillac craig's definiton is probably better than mine. Everlast is the best rapper out there at the moment. He has a lot more to say than people like Gay-Z ("Yo, yo, wozzup bo!? Where mah ho's at??" - stupid shit like that.) | |

| Prolly about ones fear. Everlast and Santana put it in a very nice way. I think the meant that everyone of us deep inside still is te child he was. ur never too old to be afraid. and i think that wat the monster is. "Theres a monster , living under my bed, whispering in my ear" and on the other hand there is always hope "There's an angel with a hand on my head She says I've got nothing to fear" And this msg is to everyone (sinners, lovers ,killers, children) reach into ur deepest darkest fear, face it, and pray u dont loose ur nerve, and that will put ur light on... | |
