Yes, but the phrase "The sun should never set upon an argument" origanated like NoirBlood said. The song is Affirmation, what else needs to be said!

this is one of my power theme songs yesssss. a great opener for an album, and a great album in general. =P "I believe you can't appreciate real love until you've been burned I believe the grass is no more greener on the other side I believe you don't know what you've got until you say goodbye," yeah... truer words were never spoken. damn i need to find this CD as soon as I move and put it on my iPod!

It's funny to see how many different ways a person can take the "sun should never set upon an arguement" line. I always thought it was more along the lines of, don't go to bed angry with someone, they might not be there the next morning. Another line I often hear a lot of different opinions about is "I believe that junkfood tastes so good because it's bad for you", some people I know take that at face value, but I think it's saying once someting's 'bad' or forbidden, it's instantly more attractive.

A very motivational and inspiring song... what does ".....negate the need to be undressed" mean, anyway?? If each of us were to follow the lyrics of this song, the world would have been a better place to live in!!

"negates the need to be undressed" means that the feeling stops, and that you dont want to undress each other any more. So its saying your sex life dies really. So there yer go.

EMILY! *waves* The line "I believe the sun should never set upon an argument" has nothing to do with Egyptian deities...according to an interview by Savage Garden's fanclub, it was just something Darren's mother used to tell him all the time :)

I think the line "I believe forgiveness is the key to your unhappiness" is about forgiving too much, like when you're stuck in a bad relationship and keep getting hurt but still forgiving. Well, that's what it means to me, but if anyone has a different opinion I'd like to hear it :-)
