This is my favorite Saves The Day song. By far, the best. everytime I hear it, I just want to cry for all the mistakes I have made in my life. It just makes me rethink everything I have done, and realize that I cannot dwell on them. Everyone has had that time in his or her life where he or she just had to take a moment to think of the mistakes made. This song is all about that.

you're being a bit hippocritical 1399, of course it means something different to everybody, and this site is for people to say what it means to them, and that's all people are doing, saying what the song means to them, no harm in that. Nobody can really concretely say what it's about unless they hear it from Chris himself, but the cool thing is not knowing what it's about and finding your own meaning, and this song is good for that, and that makes it kick ass.

this song shouldn't be analyzed because it means something different to everyone. that's it. and i like the rag doll dancing. this is my favorite song because i can relate to it so much and it's just really effing good. i hate everyone's explanation of this. they're looking way too deeply into it. the whole song describes a feeling. i would say what it means to me or what that feeling is, but i can't. the only thing i can say is when you've had that feeling, you just know exactly what he means. exactly. and the song suddenly means everything to you.

this songs a great song with pretty simple lyrics, but if you're a teenager especially, i think you feel them so much

I think Chris is in this parking lot because he's thinking about some lie he told. Here he realizes what a fool he was for not being truthful and he uses his surroundings as a metaphor of what his real situation is. "Clouds" are his "Lies" and if they weren' t there he could see the city... I particularly like the rhythm of the singing when he says "four miles... the city..." (kinda like a pun) and it also anticipates the "clouds" when he pauses after "city".... goddam masterpiece.
