i hadn't really ever thought of metaphors but now that i think about it they're everywhere in this song.. i just fell in love with this song all over again.. nothing however can beat firefly, jesse and my whetstone and sell my clothes im off to heaven.. three greatest songs ever.. on a side note.. im going to see saves the day again tomorrow night with weezer.. jealous..?

This Song is about loving someone So much that you rather kill them then to let them keep going on with their self destuctive life. This CD is a big change from there previous CD's So I recommend Checking out their older CD's. Especially Check out Can't Slow Down, my personal favorite. STD Fan For Life

i prefer the new stuff. it sounds like they have matured a lot from the first cd. they played in virginia beach april 2000 with h2o and project 208. definitely one of the best shows i saw.

its bouncy, it's edge, it sucks. this is just the kinda song that gets stuck in your head and it's really hard to get out. not bad....

It's not about him killing his girlfriend beacuse he catches her smoking weed. Any halfway intelligent person can realize that it's a metaphor about how you have an ego and in a way it can be killed.
