| This song is how almost all of us have felt when we've liked someone. His gut is burning cause he can't find the nerve and he can't do anything about it so he decides that dieing is the only way to stop it. Where he says that his head is swirling and carried off. Well he's just sayin that he keeps thinking about that person and that he's getting rid of his "head" to clear his memory. What's left of that person will be somewhere beneat the waves of time, and he'll never look back. | |

| This is the first song I ever heard on Stay What you Are, and I fell in love with the whole cd immediately. I just love the chorus, its' so brutally honest (I know I know . . . big change for STD), and it really sums up the cd pretty well. www.staywhatyouare.com!!! | |

| Like so many before me, my fave line of this song is, "You want to know who I really am? Yeah so do I." This song is definitely about a girl/or other person in his life who is no longer that important. Their relationship has been falling apart for some time but he's been trying to keep in touch maybe out of guilt or just a sense of duty. And he is stating that he doesn't have the heart to try anymore. "Right now I am turning off the lights cause I don't think that I have got the stomach to stomach calling you today." When he does try to hang out or call, all he gets is shit about how he's changed and whatnot and how that person doesn't know him anymore. So he is fed up w/ all the crap and basically says, I don't even know myself anymore so leave me alone. I'm turning off the lights and closing his chapter of my life w/ you. | |

| This was definitely STD's best song live. I saw them on the pop disaster tour. Before that I only sort of liked them, but after I was hooked. They are so innocent- they looked like they are 14. (Maybe I was just so far away....) | |

| personally, i think its about struggles in his mind trying to figure out who he is and if the person involved still has a place in his life, and if they do, what is it?(remember, folks, most of chris' songs are not about girls hes involved with, hes had one girlfriend for years, a lot of them are either about other people or not even romantic relationships at all) | |

| See you is definitely my favorite Saves The Day song. I agree with emo SavestheDay and I don't really care what exactly it's about. Maybe he makes his lyrics so un-defined so that it means something to everyone. To me it reminds me of a girl. To other it might not...aah, the beauty of STD | |

| Yeah, Chris is a great lyricist... and this song is one of the best lyrically. I'm not even gonna try to think about what this song means, because it doesn't matter what it means to me or anyone else... it just matters what it means to Chris and I'm sure none of us have asked Chris "What does 'See You' mean?" Yeah, so... great song. | |

| This song is simply amazing. As Ztar77 said, the song is about losing someone you loved. It may be an ex, it may be a relative, nonetheless, it's a person you held dear to you. I believe Chris, is trying to figure out, not only whats happened, but what's going to happen in the future. Chris doesn't seem positive about himself any more. You can tell this from when he says "You want to know who I really am? Yeah, so do I." You can tell from this, that this person, whomever it may be gave him a self of individuality, and now that the person is gone, he no longer has that feeling. He doesn't know who he is. He's just a regular "Joe". | |

| This is definitely one of my favorites (if not my favorite) Saves the Day song. The chorus is incredible, it's so true, and it's just one of those tunes that gets stuck in your head and stays there for days/weeks... Awesome song by a great band. | |
