great great song. it's a shame the band aren't together again. Mark and the Connor's really were special. it's about perhaps his wasted days he had when he was on drugs and realized he is now regretting it

I do enjoy this band very much mostly because of the rather mellow but still grungy music. I was first introduced when I looked for more bands similar to Blind Melon. Although there may not be much similarity I don't regret it for one second. This song seems to reference some drugged up past. Now he feels empty inside and doesn't have anything to believe in.
