| Agreed. I think theres also a bit of a Fuck You attitude with the lines "And I don't need friends when I have foes like you" and "Go away it's all the same There's more for me". Kinda like he pretends he doesn't care but inside he wants to be accepted, | |

| This song could not be about anything else than being excluded from society or a "group" hence your not part of the world, it falls away, and he's saying why hate me? I am just like you, just not a fool, this song is pretty self explanatory, But then again somehow i could be wrong, I did poke myself in the eye this morning.... that's never a sign of somebody who knows what their talking about.... | |

| The song is about a falling out. Be it with his peers, a friend, or even a woman (i would be so mad if he wrote another "I lost me girl" song though). The "I'm just like you" segments ARE a screw you to the world. He can't even find a reason to be different, but he is nonetheless. The only thing about it is that he feels there has been a betrayal "I don't need friends when I have foes like you." He sees the world and a traitor and at the same time a high when it accepts him is "I don't need pills when I have drugs like you." he thinks that acceptance would rid him of the need for drugs. Anyways, this is my favorite song on the album and I just wish we could get more people commenting on it. | |
