| I love this song. I can't believe more people haven't commented on it. I never really thought about the Kurt Cobain thing but I guess it does make sense... Anyways, great band. They rock live. | |

| i half way agree with SerjCobain except there are a few lines that dont make sense with his idea. but most of it does make sense. my first thought was that it was about a guy and a girl that was together and her past bf had left her(must be something on your mind, something lost and left behind) and she didnt want him to leave so she shot him(she told me she had a gun and it sounded like she used it once before on him) and know she is so paranoid that it will happen again so she thinks that her current bf is going to leave her(do you think im faking when im lying next to you) and when she confronts him about it he thinks she is crazy(which she is) and he cant deal with it anymore so he doesnt love her anymore but he doesnt want to break up with her cuz she will kill him too. but he tells her that they cant be together(we have to succumb to the feelings we can never face) so she says she will kill him(she says she wants to use it on me now). i could be wrong but thats what i think. either way its an awesome song. | |

| I think this song is about a failing relationship, where the people pretend to love each other, but its only a facade(the lines about lying), and that they are really hurting each other by being together (lines about the gun), but they are still bound by something inside themselves (We have to succumb to/The feelings we can never face/I need you I breathe you/I can’t go through this all again. nyways.. great song | |
