	"I'm beaten down again, I belong to them..." Sounds like a reference to the music industry, which seems to be a major theme on the album.

	hmm maybe about iike the mafia or something like that? a debt or something... i really dont know. probably just another damn good seether song. heres to one of the best hard rockers since maiden and one of the best songs since bullet with butterfly wings from teh pumpkins.

	Of course it's about lying but it could be someone lying to somone else or like Dixon had mention the goverment. I have no clue why but I always think of the goverment lying to us when I hear this song. Maybe the part "I'm beaten down again, I belong to them" Maybe thats why I think it. Anywho great song. I love it. This album rocks I can't find a song I don't like on it.

	I think SR65 pretty much has it, he's convinced somethings wrong with him because he lies to them so much. he's deprived himself of his conscience so he doesnt have to feel the guilt of what he's done. he's beaten him self down over what he's done and practically given himself to them because he's so sorry over what he did. And he failed them because maybe he'd done it before and promised never to do it again, and he did and he's really beating him self up about it.

	This song makes me think he has lied to someone and now feels bad about it. He thinks the other person is better than him because they don't lie like he does and nothing that person says can justify his lie.

	this is an awesome song, i think he has made a decision to do something he feels bad about, yet he feels he had to do it, which is why he says "i'm no further from right". The part of his decision he feels is wrong is effecting him more though, his guilt. That's what i think anyway!

	Just to let you know, the lyrics actually is "The deception you show is your own parasite" If you actually listen and try to say paradise at the same time, it just doesn't work out.

	one of my favorite songs of the album...seether at their best some lyrics are wrong like is not " The deception you show is your own paradise" it is "The deception you show is your own parasite"
