| does it fuck sound like nirvana? I'm sick of people saying that Silverchair sound like nirvana or rip them off in some way. Don't get me wrong I like nirvana but Daniel Johns actually sings properly also nirvana didn't use drop D tuning all that much whereas silverchair use it quite alot, like in this song for example. | |

| yeah. im sick of the nirvana thing too. KURT COBAIN and DANIEL JOHNS have totally different voices. I do though, think that SilverCrow is being stupid. Cobain sure could "sing properly". He had a brilliant voice. but they are two different bands, and they may sound alike, but its grunge. its a genre. of course it sounds alike. who can tell the difference between funeral for a friend and from first to last? not me. | |

| I thinks it's how when the band weren't famous no-one wanted to know them but when they started selling records everyone wanted to be their friends even those who were mean to then before | |

| i think this song is about stalkers, like obsessive fans that know everything about stars lives. especially the part that goes; i dont know you tell me you semm to know everything else. i think he's basically refering to poparazi that know every little fact and detail or event in someones life and some things you forget or left in the past you might not remember but they bring up and you might not have a single idea about what they are talking about but they still know something about you and you have to keep track of all this and they juast kepp on pulling you down to their level. the beginning where it goes; you never wanted to know me before little or no ossociation- i think that gives the vibe that the [person dosen't know the star at a personal level and that they've just met- little or no ossociation meaning that the person is a complete stranger. I think the last part of the song is about bad publicity and other stars and the media bashing down the musician, by means of propaganda | |
