silverchair - "Spawn Again" (Bass Tab)
>From the album "Neon Ballroom"

Transcribed by Ben Schmerr

Notes:
------
1. The song is downtuned, with a drop D - all the strings except the "E"
string are tuned
down a half-step (one fret), and the E is tuned down 1 and a half steps.
The "E" string
is then C sharp, the "A" string is then A flat etc...
3. If you are not sure about any part of the song, the approximate timings
shown below
might help.
4. There are no guarantees that this tab is accurate - it is unofficial.
However, I personally
am very sure that this tab is 100% accurate.

I'd first like to thank RubberDuckieYAY for telling me about this song. It's awesome. I love it when people use there influence on society to do something with it rather than just sing about shitty unimportant things. I agree with MJK Is God that it is really great that guy singers are singing about this and not caring about what people think... its great to see them stand up for their beliefs

oh well. if this song was never written, would insults be hurled at liana now? i don't know. it's a funny song to write, but the best a lyricist can do is write about stuff you can relate to and talk about. music-wise, i thought it was really really heavy. sort of gave me a headache when i first heard it. well, there's a line to draw everywhere, and some are fine lines you have to cross. i don't know, nothing in the world is just black and white, there are some liberal views you have to take.

This is a great pro-vegan song. I wish more people would wake up and become vegeterians too...It's nice seeing a guy singer writing a song about it and not care what others may think!

hmm... i respect your opinion of course, but i have to question how you can really draw the line between which animals it's ok to eat, and which animals are "too evolved" to be used for food. in some countries, cows are considered sacred beings and dogs are used as meat. so are they "wrong"?! anyway, i love this song, daniel's lyrics are so great and silverchair kicks ass!!!!!

this song is great, it was kinda scary the first time i heard it but then i listened to the words, and i really like it. it's great that daniel stood up for what he believes in and what so many others (such as myself) believe in and made a song of his/their views

when i showed my friend this song, she said "i think its mean to call it murder". "well then what is it?" "slaughter". i think slaughter was just a term coined up to make people feel better about eating meat. hunting is one thing. but slaughterhouses are quite another. i'm not into propaganda but i detest slaughterhouses and will fight against them.

i think killing for pleasure is worst than killing for food. the only reason i eat meat is because when i see a slice of bacon, i dont see a pig. maybe if i went to a slaughter house everything would change but thats not the case.
