Yes, yes, this song is amaizing.. with lyrics so brutal. You can hear the emotion in his voice... so powerful. My favorite line of the song is "i'd rather die than have to see your smile" it's pretty harsh and i hope i would never have to feel this way about someone, yet the way he sings it just makes me feel his hatred.. Yeah i saw these guys live at warped tour... they weren't suppost to be there but they were able to squeeze in on the smart punk stage. Man i can't wait to get there new album, coming out on august 16. these guys rock. Oh and EarlyNov7 there is no religious meaning to this song.. like clearly about heart break..

Yeah I first found found Silverstein on Purevolume too, awesome mix of emo/hardcore. While the lyrics seem overblown and over-the-top "I'll slit my throat with the knife I pulled out of my spine", "douse myself in gasoline" it feels perfect in the mood of the song, the guy is so pissed off at being used/betrayed/whatever that that's how it feels like. And yeah, I know it feels like that sometimes, which is why the lyrics work...

I pretty much know that its not religious... no one in silverstein is religious... but it's kinda hard to see because they never cuss or anything in their music... but they do in concert.... but i guess religion and words spoken don't really go hand in hand, but sometimes they do... anyway, a few of the songs on this album have the "sing, scream, sing, scream, sing, scream" type thing... its almost as if there is some sort of multiple personality, internal battle type thing or something... its really cool This was the first song that i ever heard of silverstein's... when i heard it it was almost as if they took everything that i love about music and put it into a song... since then silverstein has been my favorite band...

i agree with pumpkinqueen i think the lyrics and the song itself are really beautiful... i really love it I also think it's about a relationship instead of something religious, I agree with the arguments of the others.

I love the poetic-ness (for lack of a better term) of this song. It has so much emothion behind the scream. One of their best songs

wtf early november...trust me silverstein isnt talking about religious matters in there songs. it wouldnt make any sense. "smash apart what you created how can i ever stop you from crushing my soul? " yea..that be a perfect thing to say when you pray to god. your ass would probably get struck by lightning

Religious meaning?...No I don't think so..It's a great song to sing after your bf/gf just broke up with you though. Or when you're just mad at any person or even mad at the world.
