	This is one of my favorite songs of theirs. The beginning is an amazing introduction that leads to such a powerful sound that never stops to give me chills. I find myself relating to these lyrics: "i fear that all my cries fell upon deaf ears" because people nowadays lack compassion. And no one seems to care about anything or anyone but themselves.

	shane as a teenager walked in on his bestfriend "with" shanes girlfriend. Shane felt that he could trust this friend with his life. And was in disbelief that a best friend can do something so coldhearted. Shane turned to this friend whenever he was going through hard times, but after the insident, he realized that all his cries fell upon deaf ears (his friend wasnt realy caring/listening)

	i think this might actually be my favorite song of theirs, so i'm really surprised that it has so few comments.... cheerbee07 could be right w/ the suicide idea... 'this gaping hole in my chest is filled with deceit'...best line of the song

	"this gaping hole in my chest is filled with deceit " i this that this is about this guy has no heart for anythin and he is willing to trick anyone into anything. yup yup definitely love silverstein ,reminds me of the day i ride in a car with my best buddy and me and hm slapping each other it was great well its sounds dumb but it really funny k im dont ~amanduh~

	~this song is amazing ~its one of my favoite songs from them ~they put together the song perfectly, everything flows and the guitarists do a great job in this song also.

	on the dvd that came with discovering the waterfront there's a live performance where he dedicates november to bayside maybe not specifically about john beatz, but maybe about someone who died?
