	I heard that this song is about a weird girlfriend pierre had(I don't think she head four legs though) I read this in an interview:Was the song 'My Alien' inspired because you have been abducted? Sebastien) It's about and ex-girlfriend Pierre had. Pierre) She was really weird. Sebastien) I introduced them. I didn't know she had four legs. She must have put two in one pant leg and two in the other. I never noticed. Pierre) It's an analogy of the kind of girl who doesn't exist cos you want a girl who is so cool yet so weird. It's not about an actual alien!

	Maybe I'm on crack, but I thought this song sounded like a "straight" guy dating another guy for the first time. Basically, he's in love with "her" even though "she" is physically different from anyone he's ever dated before (i.e. a guy) Hence not being your "typical girlfriend." Read my evidence and tell me if I'm wrong. "Four legs to wrap around me" One extra leg would have easily meant penis, but that might have been too obvious. I admit this one may be a stretch, but the rest fir better. "I'll meet you anywhere, somewhere no one can retrace. Someplace where nobody will know our faces." He doesn't want to be caught and outed. "she can be sure with me, there is no conspiracy, she's not wasting her time." He's not just another jock out to get "her" for being gay. "she can take me to a place that she calls home in a spaceship that will someday be my own" "she" will introduce him to gay life, and eventually he'll be comfortable with it without "her." "I bought the astronaught's kit, now all I need's the rocket." He bought condoms and lube and I think the rocket speaks for itself. Also, note that of all of the lovesongs on this album, this is the only one that ever uses female pronouns like "her" or "she". Every other song is in ithe second person, thus no gender is specified. Let me know what you think.

	When I first heard this song I thought it was gonna be really sweet. Like the part that's like "Just a glimpse of your face..." Then I heard the " 4 legs to wrap around me" part and I started cracking up. It's just a funny song. :0)

	well, this song is awesome. i really wish i had someone like that even if they were an alien. well, i don't so, i can just keep listening to this song wishing i did. well, simple plan rocks, and so does this song. hell yeah!

	I love simple plan, but this song is just messed up, it's the only song on the CD i dont like. I give them credit for trying to be funny and all, but it's just not doin it for me

	I don't really like this song, but it is funny. The band claims its about one of Pierre's old girlfriends who was extremely weird, so they wrote a song about her.(and if your stupid, she did NOT have four legs just clearing that up..)

	Yes, it's an absurd concept (at least to us humans at this point in time), but you have to admit there's something quite sweet about the lyrics to this song. I'm especially partial to the lines "She could take me to the place that she calls home / In a spaceship that'll someday be my own / Please take me to your leader / Tell her I will surrender". Now that's what I call commitment.
