if the fret numbers are closer to each other it means 16th notes,
usually.
Corrections welcome as long as they're not along the lines of "you're
stupid,
that's not how you play the song!" - this is a synth song. Yes, I know
that.
This is more or less what I play when I play along to it. You can hear
the
changes pretty easily. It sounds better if you run it through some
effects
(mutron bi-phase and some reverb make it sound pretty good. Playing with
a
pick is recommended for the staccato sound that the synths in the song
have.
If I get some requests I'll get the guitarist in my band to teach me how
he plays the melody synth parts and post it.
-pig.

| The song's about animal torture; specifically vivisection. And yes, the title does imply the "666" thing - they've admitted to that at some time or another, I'm pretty sure. | |

| The video is nightmarishly brilliant, for some reason it feels even more disturbing because of the 80s quality to it. This is prolly because we're used to the 80s being all sunshine and hair metal and happiness, so when something sick comes out of that decade we are terrified by how out of place it seems. Skinny Puppy's cruel music is the best weapon against cruelty...if ya get what i mean. | |

| This song is about the horrors of vivisection. It's message is vivisection is not only cruel to animals but also has not proven to be very helpful in curing human dieseases. Also some of the lyrics are from the animals point of view, this is also what the name of the band means. Please learn more about vivisection! | |

| Ahhh, I love this song. I remember doing a project on vivisection last year for school and I had a book titled 'Vivisection is scientific fraud' I borrowed off of my dad to help me. Viewing the film clip for this song, I noticed that a lot of the images have been taken from this book. The only reason I ended up searching for the film clip was after watching The Plague Dogs and reading that an audio from the movie was inserted in the video. "I hope you make sure we're properly dead before you start, old rip beak." Loved that line so much... Amazing song from a very eccentric band. Love it, love it, love it. Now, everyone go out and watch The Plague Dogs on youtube.com. Very relevant movie. =] | |
