| oh just a note to the people who can't understand why music like this song especially and any of slipknots and mudvaynes songs are so great. one thing is just the depth of there writing is completely on a different level. And Alteria . . . come on! What do you mean, how did they know what he was dreaming about . . . the song tells a story, it's not stating solid concrete facts. | |

| I dont like much schlipknort but ah lurve this song! right up there with the awesome SOAD!(boy thats a big compliment!) Its just the whole rhythm, beat and the way the lyrics fit in so smoothly. Does anyone else here think schlipknort makes kinda random songs and keeps the stuff that sounds good? or is that just me?! Not that its bad, they got it right with 4 songs outa 2 albums (leftbehind, W&B, herictic anthem and spit it out) I dont know why i dont like the others, i just cant put my finger on it. Anyone got any ideas what makes these 4 so different? | |

| i think that this song is about schizophrenia...the symptoms for schizo is delusions, false beliefs, halluncinations, false sensory expieriences, disorganized speech/behavior, fits of mania and depression and inappropiate behavior... the mancharian canidate part refers to brainwashing...hence the GET OUTTA MY HEAD CUS I DONT NEED THIS...i also think that might have to do with hearing voices....the part about feeling the hate rise up might have to do with the manic mood swings and depression. i dont disagree w/the attempted suicide theory...but i think it is caused by schizophrenia/ cus many schizo;s are "cutters" meaning they ENJOY cutting themselves...music is funi think this song | |

| To answer the question about the "amatures" I was that amature, I loved the song, not because of the words, but because I couldn't understand what the words was speaking, only some of them (I had to read the lyrics) but the whole thing is great, it sounds awesome, and its loud, and when your standing near a stage, and a band starts playing this song, because they liked it, it sounds great, not because who done the song, just the whole tune and shit...I dont know what the fuck I am talking about but I'll shut up......it's one of the only slipknot songs I like....people = shit is kewl...so is that other one that comes after that on the album....yeah...keep up the good work...and I agree with the nothingman | |
