| maybe this is old slipknot before Corey was in the band but this is definetly not him singing. it's two voices singing the song. and im pretty sure it's not him. this song isn't even slipknot's style. it sounds like this band has 1 drummer instead or 3. the only thing that sounds like slipknot is the kicking (rapid) drumming that u don't hear very long). it doesen't even sound like Joey. i doubt this is slipknot. | |

| The vocalist at the time (Anders Colsefni) said that it was about a vampire. The reason it doesn't sound like Slipknot is because at the time that mate-feed-kill-repeat was recorded, there were only 6 members, they were: Josh Brainard, Donnie Steele, Paul Gray, Anders Colsefni, Shawn Crahan and Joey Jordison. | |

Anyone who understands music and has read the tabs will know this. MFKR had less focus on catchiness and choruses, and more on general musicianship and heaviness. Although songs like "Scissors", "Gently", "Iowa" and "Vermilion" raise the bar on these albums, MFKR surpasses them in most ways. | |
