Joey Jordison is THE modern drummer god. If you ask me, he's the BEST sinse early Lars Ulrich shit, and that says quite a bit. Mick is one hell of a guitarist, and solos like this one doesn't fucking cut it. Let him go apeshit on a song and he'll gain the respect of all the guitarists in the community. He has my respect, but I know he's capable of so much more better things. Slipknot boggs him down IMO. Vol. 3 was a fuckup, if you ask me. Rick R. on production, how could you fuck it up? This is the man behind Slayer, for Christ's sake! I was extremely disappointed. Slipknot are now officially tools of the machine. They are making money and doing damn good at it. I mean, prior to this CD, how many times would you see a Slipknot video on top 10 rock countdowns on ANY music channel? Never. How about Duality? Pulse of the Maggots? Vermillion(sp?)? They're everywhere, the the record sales are proving it. Sellouts, if there ever were any. Why can't they put out another self-titled album with that same emotion? Give us another (sic), goddamnit! I'm personally tired of this record. I'm tired of trying to defend Mick and Jim and Joey as great musicians(because they are such) stuck in shitty bands. Break away and do something worth while. I'm sure that fresh, hot, teenage ass really feels and tastes quite wonderfully, but is it worth half of your fans? Alot of Slipknot fans gave up on them after Iowa, and even more buried them 6 feet under with Vol. 3. Slipknot have become the Nu-Metal stereotype, and if you ask me, that's nothing to be proud of. Mabye real metal will come back some day, and I'd love to see Joey and Mick and Jim somewhat involved in it.

This song is alright. I think that Corey Taylor's voice might've weakened a little bit. Either that or he just decided to soften the screaming just a tad. But at the same time I think that he improved his voice because his articulation is a little better. The band as a whole pretty much improved as well. This isn't necessarily Slipknot's best work, but it's still not necessarily all that disappointing. Though I am hoping for a little more than this on the rest of the new album.

This is the only song that doesn't quite fit the album. I don't dislike it though. The rest of the album is fucking great though. I love having friends that own music stores. The technique that the members of Slipknot have picked up in their side projects, such as the vocal maturity that Corey has employed because of the time he's spent in Stone Sour, makes this a kick ass album. Those who say that this is processed shit, grow up. This is pure rage that couldn't be expressed within the prison of grain that is Iowa. I've been there, it is earth's rendition of hell. This is music spawned from the very depths of hell itself. I love it. So all of you little punky fucks, put on your little Rancid CD's and spike yourself in the eye's with your hair. I'll keep my music spawned from the very externalization of the primal heart that is Slipknot, and mosh my friends to a bloody pulp while I do it!

just for the record the definition slipknot gives for a "sell-out" is a person or band that changes because other people want them to. the closest they come with this album to s"elling-out" is having about 2 curse words on the whole cd. and the meaning behind this song: its just for all the maggots out there. that's all it is....just an anthem for them.

i disagree with the swear word topic. I think Corey did an excellent job writing lyrics for this new album. I mean, I love Slipknot, but bands that just fill their albums with curses have no creativity. In my opinion, have too many profanities is "selling out". Bands out there need to learn how to stay heavy, stay metal, but learn how to express themselves, and have a valid point by the way...this is a sweet album!!!

This is one of two pieces of filler on an otherwise amazing album, the second piece being Welcome.

This song is ok but they are trying to hard. They want to match up from their old CD. It's annoying really

This song is about Slipknot never breaking up again, 'Say it again, say it again! (We won't die)'
