Band- Smile Empty Soult
Song- Silhouettes
Taber- TBSBassist

This is my first tab. I'm sure its at least 95% right, if not 100%. I'm not a big fan of SME,
but my bro wanted our band to play it for his party, and I couldn’t find any tabs, so I
listened to it, and it was very easy to figure out, enjoy.

The 2nd Verse is kind of hard to hear, you can either play what I tabbed for it, or just play
what you did in the previous verse, I just tried to make it exact… It’s my first tab
though, and I think it came out pretty good, the basic sound of the song is all right. I
hope it helps you, Enjoy!

bwahaha nice dogma quote. I don't quite understand why all of you are trying to give the song religious meaning though, I think it's more of a cynical view about how Sean was raised VERY religiously and how that isn't how it should've been. I just finished reading an article about that, so... Yah, take it however you like, I suppose. Does anyone know why posts are disappearing? Does someone have the power to get rid of posts?

To me this is basically about some parents wanting their child to be right in the eyes of god etc etc so they try to teach him the right way but he wants to live his own life by his own rules because he saw how his parents turned out, sort of like just a shell and he doesnt want it to end it like that and when he has kids hes not going to pressure them into anything and hes gunna let them live their own life.

I love this song. I'm not gonna make up any BS stories about how I don't wanna end up like my parents, as I think they've got it quite right. Sure I don't wanna live exactly like them but I can't say that I relate to this song. I do, however, find it a very moving song and, although I'm not in the situation, I love the message it's getting across. In that respect, it's great!
