I'll have to agree with XCrusherX, that's exactly what I thought. "Don't put an end to your life 'cause that's where you showed your last sign". In this situation the singer's friend is planning to commit suicide, and he's telling him not to do it. Suicide also explains the name, Departure Plan. Someone who's planning to commit suicide is planning a departure from this world.

i agree, man these are some pretty cool lyrics, really uplifting and positive this band is awesome..im a huge in flames fan, its cool how these guys are from gothenburg too, and sort of in league with in flames, sound that same, awesome musical talents like in flames, and now i find out the lyrics are all emo and awesome like in flames.. im lovin these guys, only been listening to them for like a week
