i agree with virtue the song does explain itself. you just turned 21 you are of legal drinking age (i dont think that has much to do with the song but dats ok) your childhood is basically now completely gone. hes still in his youth but at the end of it and hes sayin to like enjoy that time as much as posisble because it ends faster than you think.

i think its deffinetly related to the legal drinking age....which is always related to be young and living in the moment. last night he signed the back of my fake ID in ode to this song! yay!

in fact, this song has no hint that it is related with drinking. yes it is about youth and thinking about furthe life.

It's not just about driking. It's about everything you do, when you turn to the magical age of 21. haha. You think you're on top of the world, and that feeling usually leads to disaster, like marrying at a young age. (as said in the song)

I think this is one of Andrew\'s more personal songs. He seems to be always looking forward to turning 21, the ideal age in which he thinks \"no one makes fun of me cuz I can\'t stand up for myself\" because he is fianlly an adult. He also seems to be saying that he can\'t wait to \"screw this up\" cuz he finally has the power to do more. The song ends on \"I\'m in power for the hour, I guess today\'s gonna blow us away\" meaning that since he is finally old enough to make an impact in the world, he is ready to blow the world away.
