NOTE: This is my version. I transcribed it myself because I had a concert onand had already
partly written it. You'll have to play around a bit withthe rhythm to get it, but when
you do it sounds alright, but not exactly whatSteph plays, but at least it sounds a bit
like it.Please bear with me coz I don't know how to write tab, and thisis my first ever
submission.

Verse:
A# C D (x3)
A# C (x1)

Chorus:
A A C C

The instrumental bit “aaaahh”
E D C (x4)
“oooh” and “Jerry, You’re not getting any younger”

To me, this song is about a man who is depressed and living life in a sad, pittied-way. He lives alone in a dark room, excluding himself from others in an anti-social behavoir because he's so angry at the world and the mindless people that walk it. He quits his job because life just doesn't seem worth it anymore. He asks himself what the use of working is if he's so unhappy with life. It seems at this point that he becomes suicidal, and just just starts running away. Running from his fears, his friends, his "life". Just trying to escape. At this point it seems like Paul is sending out a warning message, saying that he knows somethings not right with Jerry, and he notices that he's missing. He trys to offer advice to make "life better"... "Fresh air, a nice new suit, a walk in the park every day or two". Alltogether it seems like depression and suicidal feelings made "jerry" run from the horrible things in his life and they turned him crazy. It seems like Paul wrote this to warn all of us about suicide and depression and too look out and "notice who's been missing"...
