Subject: Panty Lies
Bass Tab for "Panty Lies" by Sonic Youth from the DGC album
Washing Machine. Tabbed by Simon (SilvrRockt@aol.com or
simong@goodnet.com).
I know she plays guitar on this song, but it is detuned and
the bass notes are the same as what she's playing.
Verse:
A -6-7-6-7-8-8-7-7-8-8-7-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9
Chorus:
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
On the third(?) verse, don't play the 9's, just keep repeating
the riff.

| Although I can understand why it would get on some people's nerves, I like this song. The instrumentation is interesting in that dissonant Sonic Youth way, and I love Kim's bratty delivery. I doubt any other band could make this work. | |

| This is the only Sonic Youth song that I can't stand. Kim sounds stupid at the end. | |

| Actually, this is one of my favorites off of Washing Machine. I like how Kim sings it, and I think it's a fun sort of catchy song. It's the sort of song that's not to be taken very seriously. | |
