i think treestump and WinterOnyx might well be right, this song resembles 'you can call me a dog' from "temple of the dog"

Grunge has been dead for a long time. It evolved into "post-grunge" in the late nineties, with STP as a bridge to bands like Everclear, now it's dead. Long live grunge.
