| Wish i could help you with that. I know that man can get some high ranges with his voice. As far as what the song is about, I really do not know. Might be about being used, or having a good heart and having it walked on by people and finally saying to leave me alone, I am done helping you. I don't know, Soundgarden songs are some what cryptic in most cases. | |

| I think this song is about a bad relationship where the person has given and given and been taken advantage of and has finally drawn a line and said no more. | |

| I actually think this song is about politicians instead. The whole song seems like it's about a politician who gave all theses promises and once he got in office broke every single one of them. It’s just a thought. After all it is a usual Soundgarden song and it can mean whatever you want it to and it'll sound right. And you guys are right, his voice is crazy in this song. | |

| i ll have to disagree about the vocals. there are better, like Geoff Tate (my personal favorite). But i will say that you could possibly argue he is the best lyricist, though that would be difficult to prove indefinitely | |

| its not about a relationship, which is wha a lot of people think soundgarden songs, or just grunge songs in general are about I think this song attacks the music industry (think Cherub rock, just angrier) put it together from there | |
