| The album version sucks. Sounds like the monster in the suite with a case full of money influenced Sparta's creativity. I'm throwing my copy in trash. | |

| This is a long shot, but I reckon it could be about Sparta themselves. EG. They got it wrong [well, not in my mind] with ATD-I, but this time, with this new band, they're gonna get it right. That seems fairly obvious to me. I could be wrong. Oh yeah, this song is incredible live - it rocks sooooo much. Peace Out. | |

| i think the entire AUSTERE EP is about starting over fresh and being like "hey, we can play music no matter what band we are in, without any crap pulling us down, we wont screw up". well, thats how i take it. ALSO, i believe, i could be wrong, that Cedric and Jim had several conflict about the whole ATDI thing...like Jim is who called the 6-month rule after they played a show in Germany(?)...then their van crashed...so it was all sort of building up and whatnot. So, to make a point now, I think Jim, Tony and Paul are kinda telling not just Cedric and Omar, but everyone who doubted them "this time i'll get it right". Thats just how i think it is... | |

| Where was Austere and/or Wiretap recorded? I've always had this idea about the reference to "projects through mansion doors" being about The Mars Volta. They, if you didnt know, recorded iwth Rick Ruben in a mansion that is said to be haunted. Actually at one point one member of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers went into the bathroom and just walked out because he felt so creeped out by a presence. Well reading the lyrics again Jim says "small flat in a smaller town." Could this be where they recorded? | |

| Good song. It kinda sounded better on the EP than on Wiretap Scars, which came out today. Excellent album still. | |
