| I can't believe that more people haven't posted here. I absolutely love this song, and it's very true. I feel the same way, and some times, it seems that I'll always feel this way. I never cut the chords, or walk away from any one even when I should. I feel like a door mat, and the worst part is that it's my own fault. Anyway, that's the problem, that people don't walk away. And, I also feel that I have lost many people along the way. Whether it was through an actual death, or just some one who's changed into an unrecognizable shadow of their former self. Hopefully someday, I'll learn to stop letting people stomp on my heart, to insist that I be taken into consideration, and to insist that I have the right to feel what I feel, and not be made to feel guilty about it. | Wow, definately one of my favorite songs off of 14 Shades, this song says so much. Pretty easy song to understand, and I think we can all relate here to what Aaron's saying. The Chorus here is telling me that people we used to know we've lost along the way ... friends, family, bf's/gf's, things we've forgotten about, either if it's good/bad has faded and blown away. | |
