This song reminds me of Romance of the 20th century, and to those of you who think that this song is not about sex that’s great but everyone here is interpreting the song to what they imagine when listening to this song. If you don’t think it’s about sex that’s cool, and if you do think it’s about sex like me then that’s cool too. Give everyone’s opinion a chance.

sounds like some girl that wanted to lose her virginity to adam and he didn't want to... possibly mocking brand new's "sic transit gloria... glory fades"

It's a long way back south Well yeah you've been there once or twice (and you still dont like it) I say you just never gave it a chance (well give me a chance, give me a chance) ^does anyone else get the feeling that hes trying to get her to give hima blowjob? Are you positive? Absolutely sure? Well just get dressed, don't do this just get dressed, don't do this. But she doesnt want to, so hes kind of upset? Yeah, this probably isnt the meaning of the song but it just comes to mind. Anyone?

Like starryxeyed said, the title of the song is a line from the movie "high fidelity".
