	wow solid snake just because you're illiterate doesnt mean this song doesnt mean anything. But anyway personally im still trying to figure this one out. But after a few listens it's one of my favourite songs, the chorus is like beach boys playing punk rock. gotta love it

	Well sort of what I took from this song was maybe its about a guy who got into a relationship with a girl he really wanted to be with but once he was with her it wasn't like what he thought it would be. Maybe she just wants to be physical and he wants a real relationship "I do, I don't need you like you think" , It's not the quanity that bothers me (No it's not the quanity that bothers me) No it's not the quality that bothers me.." "The view from this side's not what I thought it'd be, promised something differently" another thing I got from the song is the idea of 20/20 vision and looking at our world today, kind of a hindsight thing maybe. Or maybe the idea of how you don't know what the problem is until you go into surgery? whatever the meaning its a great song and I think a lot can be applied to it.

	it makes me think of hollywood for somereason "Well, twenty-twenty surgery For cheap dollar signs doll up for picture perfect point of view" everything feeling so fake/glam/expensive/moulded to be perfect/idols. etc. but yeah. giving up someone/something thats not as great/ real/ classy as you'd think. and deCorAteDemergency, delrey and aleXmay have kick ass, valid explanations.

	I think this song is about a guy who finally realizes that he doesn't need this girl.(I do, I don't need you like you think) Like his eyes have been opened and he can finally see it so clearly(the reference of twenty twenty.) The end is him leaving emotionless. He is a machine and she is so sensitive. He finally saw that his relationship was total bullshit and just got out of it. My interp. of this amazing song.
