Biography
This quartet from Bradford, England formed in 1986 as Spoilt Bratz, and quickly fused rock, funk and thrash influences into an infectiously upbeat pop metal style. Tony Wright (b. 6 May 1968, Yorkshire, England; vocals), Mark Yates (b. 4 April 1968, Bradford, Yorkshire, England; guitar), Leigh Marklew (b. 10 August 1968, England; bass), and Shutty (b. 20 March 1967, England; drums) were signed by EMI Records on the strength of their "Pump Action Sunshine" demo, and negotiated the formation of their own label name, Total Vegas.
