You people clearly have no lives since you have to waste your time insulting the songs and the people that listen to it. Go on and listen to the music you like and comment what you perfer to listen to. Just piss off and go somewhere else. You hate the song. Uh-huh, okay. Now can you please go away?

it is quite obvious what this is about. it's about a guy who has really boring when he comes home, and eventually turns up smoking some weed in front of the TV. then, when his girlfriend (or rather; girl who lives in the same house) returns home she notices that he is smoking her weed. of course she becomes mad, turns of the TV to try to get him to notice that she's even there (he's pretty stoned when she arrives, since she works night shift). and so she stands there screaming at him for smoking her goddamn weed. and, why is she never home, why does he never see her you wonder. well, simple answer, girls cant smoke as much weed without getting reeeeally stoned as guys can. so, usually she just smokes her weed, and suddenl falls down in the "everything's cool" country. and thats why he doesnt see her. she's stoned and on the floor, and he's smoking his weed and watching his TV. the "this hous is not a home" part is simply explained by how he actually lives there on the governments behalf. they kind of pay his bills and gives him a home and shit because he dont have a job, and therefore cant get those money himself.

Borsch11, I'm definitely inclined to agree with you... Except for that this song always makes me think of my mom speciffically. She and my Dad got divorced, because she wants to be a teenager instead of help raise her 2 daughters, my little Sis and I, and when he says things like, "You always disappear, even when your here!" it reminds me that my mom doesn't really give a flying fuck about us any more. It's like, she rarely ever comes to visit us, hardly calls, and is not paying child support for my sis, and even on those rare ocations when she is here, she really isn't. Hence the whole disappearing thing. She's here with us physically, but mentally, she changed drastically towards us, and she doesn't treat us like a mother should treat her kids. So, whenever "Home" comes on, I turn it up loud, and belt out the lyrics...She doesn't know that it's her song, but my Sis and I do... MaggieMichelle
