i really love this song. it makes me want to cry sometimes. i dont know what the real message is, if there even is one, but this song reminds me of my own friends who will get on my case about drugs (its rare that i get high, but they still yell at me). and they arent the nicest people about it either. its just a really good song, even if you cant personally relate to it

from listening to thice i have also noticed that their lyrics are very general, but they are also very personal and emotional. This being true, different people will soak the emotions up in a personal way. When you listen to this song, dont try to find some ultra in-depth meanig. Accept what it says to you. (wow i didnt realize i had any depth!)

I love the interpretations that most of you have come up with, they're all great. I look at it a different way and I hope you will all have an open mind when you read what I have to say. When I listened to this song and then read through the lyrics one figure of literature stood out in my mind, none other then Shakespeare's Hamlet. I think this song is re-telling the Hamlet story, if you study hamlet closely and then read through the lyrics you might see the connection. Well, thankyou all for your time....Later

I think that maybe(dont like to make you guys think bad of dustin or anything)dustin has some real experience with this. wether it be with love, or the real drug(id say heroin with the whole "stabbing" thing. just listen to how much emotion is in the end. it gives you goosebumps
