this song is about the angel micheal. i could be totally wrong, but the Angel Micheal is a warrior, and hence the "melodic battle cry" and blue represents micheals' colour. also, to unabashedly pursue is to pursue and not to be ashamed. pursue openly. to me, this song cleary represents what thrice stands for and they definately believe in God, and get all their strength from God. Because "we'll raise our voices to the sky".

well everybody i wouldnt neccesarily say Thrice is religious as much as it is almost against religion the whole chorus of this song can basically be interpreted as Thrice saying that all organized religions are fucked up and wrong but that god does exist and should be beleived in i agree i hate religion and all preconceived notions of god but there is an omnipotentbeing out there how much churchs doesnt ask for money? barely any its a way of making a quick buck not teaching about "god" well yah so i dont have anything else to say right now except why is it i cant go anywhere without seeing someone wearing i studded belt or something from Hot Topic (also known as the biggest poser store in the history of the world the "ooo i wanna be cool too guys lets get some spikes and a studded belt")

i dont know whatsup with this whole cd. Lots of songs are religious like. Take Adoni is a religious name for God. Its a lesser name for not taking his name in vein. And yeah this song is about Saint Micheal. so yeah

Holy Hox all of there songs are religious they are strong into the christian religion and allmost all there lyrics show that like this one from Identity Crisis This is my voice, all shadows stayedthis is my heart, upon the altar laid Please take all else away, hear my cry, I beg, I plead, I pray I’ll walk into the flame, a calculated risk to further bless your name So strike me deep and true, and in your strength I will live and die both unto you. sounds like a worship to god
