Thats the song the way I heard it on the record and the way I play it when my band covers it
you just need to figure out the rythems and how
many times to play each note. I havnt tabbed many songs but this one is pretty staight
foward. I Didnt use anybody else tabs to do this one either.

| this is great. it, again, speaks for itself. the affects of emotional and physical abuse: loneliness, misery, helplessness, but strong will. rubberduckieyay, i agree with you.. but this song could be towards multiple family members, friends, lovers... | |

| This is a really good song, but its meaning is very sad. Yes, it is about child abuse. If you read into the lyrics you can see that the meaning of specific lines are deeper than what is apparent on the surface. "An open book that no one reads" "A misspelled word that no one knows". These words describe someone who nobody pays attention to, cares nothing about, nor even understands. Typical of someone who would abuse a child because they are only concerned with their own interests. Very sad. It a powerful message delivered by a great band. | |

| wow, yeah this song is about child abuse... crazy i never realized that. The song is so deep now. I can't belive how some of these songs are just so goood and there about like i dunno, important topics rather than like heartbreak and stuff [important to society]. Anyways good song with a message. | |

| This song has one of the best screaming parts ever. I love Thursday and until I got into Grade had not heard any bands like them that are any good. Great use of analogy and simile. Graphic, stirring, brilliant. | |

| As Drowned Standards Said... It's about a really close friend of Geoff's when he was five... "He was one of those dirty kids that you go and play with and beat each other up, wrestle on the ground, and jump in leaf piles. It’s about the fact that his mom used to have to put make-up on him because she used to beat him so badly that she had to cover up all the bruises before he could go to school."... sad huh? | |
