	I think this song is about Sin. "In the beginning we were smarter." talking about Adam and Eve "Through the ages, we got stupid" Perhaps this song is talking about it pentence and attonement of a act he made. After he did his pentence, he feels so clean. He feels free.

	haha, the first thing i thought this song was about was smoking weed, but now i think that you other guys are right, its about sin.
