| I never really understood this song, but a quality that this song shares with all great songs is that I can relate it to my life. It reminds me how you feel when you keep waiting for something to happen in your life and you miss everything that is happening in front of you. I'm a 15 year old guy who loves playing music (singing, songwriting, guitar, piano, drums...and other instruments) and whenever I hear this song I think about how at this point in my life I'm working really hard at trying to make music into a career. This song makes me think of my current situation more than anything. | |

| Everything's great when you're in control and things are going your way. It seems things aren't that way for the singer so he's waiting for things to get better ("waiting for the light to change"). | |
