	THATS TRUE LOCUST AND EKNICK DONT WORRY YOU MAKE SENSE!! IVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS BAND BEFORE BUT FROM WHAT I READ THEY SOUND LIKE THEY CAN REALLY CONFUSE YOU IF THEY WANTED TO. WHY ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE A SONG ABOUT COOKIES AND TWIST IT A LITTLE TO MAKE IT SOUND SATANIC OR LIKE ITS TO EXPLAIN HITLERS IDEAS?? WHY WOULD THEY CAUSE THE PROBLEMS OF THEIR FANS CONFUSIONS ON THEMSELVES??? DOWNED SYSTEM, YOU SUPRISINGLY MAKE SENSE BEING STONED AND ALL. =)

	personally, i don't like to analyse tool's songs from face value, it's like reading words from shakespears poems.....come to think about it, i regcon it relates more to the nazi revolution, then Hitler will be the "satan" and if you put"egg" as the "product of hitlers mass destruction trying to take over the world" witch he fails at last then it will all make sense. As we know hitler prepared years prior the WW2, this can be "the preparation of cookie", "Bei zweihundert Grad für fünfzehn Minuten backen und"could stand for the war it self and still Hitler can't take over the world or something............................................................................arh.....thats my interpretation anyway...............am i sober?....................

	I like Makoe's theory. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that it was just a recipe. Good to know Maynard has a sense of humor.

	It is a recipe in german, using references to "the eggs (or balls) of satan". To me, it is a test. Imagine someone listening to this song for the first time, and thinking "ohh these guys sing about satan and stuff in german, probably leading some nazi revolution" and they are immediately turned off, and label tool as "satan worshipping nazis" or something. The said person would have failed the test. This song to me, tests a persons ability to thnk for themselves, and to think without blindly judging something.

	This is the perfect example of what Tool means and why it shouldn't be a mainstream band, this song is asking us to think for ourselves and not take things at face value. aka German = Satanism there just cookies man
