| long before I knew this band I thought they sounded black. LOL. But this song is sweet, from the off beat fast music and the lyrics and singing. To me it seems to be telling of human injustice, especially in africa where they mine diamonds and kill lots of people. This is like the closest thing to gangster music/rap for white people, somewhat interesting. | |

| this song is completely fucking great. And MrGuy, why dont YOU shut the fuck up. I heard this song in the Garnier shampoo commercial before i bought the transplants album and heard the full song, and it took me a good long while to get the images of dancing shampoo actresses out of my mind. Selling a song to a commercial definitely changes a lot. the dead kennedys split up over Levi wanting to put their song "holiday in cambodia" in their commercial, Jello wouldnt whore out his music like that. | |

| Ok, since you all seem to be bickering about the fact that the song was in a freaking commercial, I'll put down what the song means to me, it's about a life of crime, drug running, and conflict diamonds from Sierra Leone and the surounding area, and how it affects crime in America, and who really cares that it was in a commercial, I think it's a great song with an awesome beat! | |

| this song is good, but its a tad over-rated i first heard it on the shampoo ad and didn't even realise who it was until i got the cd today some dude in a shop goes to me "you can't like the distillers and the transplants" i would like your opinions on that but i think "why fucking not?" brody even sings in some of their songs so theres no reason i cant like both bands and besides i like them for their music not for the people in the bands gay fag at music shop he was... so yeh good song anyway | |

| So... nobody has any ideas of the meaning of this song? It doesn't really matter that they put it on a commercial. The Transplants aren't really... big on anarchy and punk rock. I personally think the song sounds awesome on the commercial. | |

| they used it in a commercial to give money to rob because he was surviving by selling drugs. travis and tim didn't need the money. | |
