Tab written by Sean Dooley (Proboarder212)
I noticed that the current tabs weren't very accurate so I hope this one is better...
I'm pretty sure its for the most part accurate.
I tabbed this for 4 string as well as 5, but he's playing the 5 string way on the record.
Listen to the song for timing.

standard 4 string (EADG)

12/14 slide up from fret 12 to 14

* Play note in sticato
5 (short punctuated notes)

Bass comes in after 4 measures

trapt fucking blows they are just a bunch of wannabes. i mean c'mon, they try to act like they're heavy metal in their videos, but any REAL heavy metal band (Pantera,Dark Angel,Bathory) could blow these losers out of the water. they're just another band for MTV to market to preppy,spoiled teens that think they're metalheads. and can't these guys think of anything else to write about besides their broken hearts and their past relationships? get over it and get a fucking life

This song isn't about breaking up; it's about getting back together. In the first verse ("I think about your face...") he is wondering what she did while they were on a break. Then I think in the second verse ("Do I expect to change...") he has found out what happened and is holding it against her, even though neither of them can do anything about what happened. He needs to let go of his pride because it hurts the relationship cause he doesn't want to get hurt. Wondering what happened inbetween the times they were together makes him paranoid about the relationship, even though he wants to give his all into it. That's just my opinion though.

...such a beautiful song...i originally downloaded it b/c it was suggested by a friend who had a recent hard time with a girl he was kinda dating. It's such an emotional song, and it's wonderful..."Do I expect to change/The past I hold inside/With all the words I say/Repeating over in my mind/Something's you can't erase/No matter how hard you try...
