I went to a Travis concert last year and Fran dedicated this song to all the couples there that were expecting a baby. It may be about having a baby, it may be about a girlfriend, its just one of those wonderful love songs that means something special and something different to everyone.

i heard it was about having children. "so there'll be flowers in the window when we go" like, leaving your mark on the world. i agree with you guys too.

well, flowers are used to describe children. if someone has "a flower in the window" then they are pregnant. i think it's about growing up basically, growing uo and beginning life

this song always gives me a certain hopeful something! It was around during a great time in my life, so whenever I hear it I am reminded of all the good things life can offer. cheesy, I know, yet true ever the same.

Gorgeous song!!!!!!! Quite Beatles-esque. I love the hook and the chorus. There is so much to absorb in a Travis song, they ROCK!!!

what violetzebras said! plus, these lines: "It's just a bunch of feelings that we have to hold But I am here to help you with the load" when i heard that, it gave me a lot of hope.

i have to agree with violetzebra - if i interpret it by thinking that no one would ever love me, then someone comes along and sweeps me off my feet, i can totally relate, cos recently it's happened to me

when i first listened to this song, i was kinda a bit cheesed at all the cheap rhymes... especially in the bit "There is no reason to feel bad But there are many seasons to feel glad, sad, mad" But by the third or so listening, i realised that these cheap rhymes really make the song... cos to me, it's about falling in love so deeply that all of a sudden the cliches are what you're feeling... and to express yourself in that way, while potentially simplistic, is also so truthful... it's so nice.
