| The moving away thing makes sence - "I feel so sorry, So friendly it hurts" probably means Greig has some regrets about the past and misses them, but "Need to speak when you're yelling and yelling" means that he'll never forget them, and what they've been though. Something else i've thought of, if you get the meaning (more like an emotion, actually) of each verse/chorus it tells a little story. At first (to me) it's anger, sadness, clarity then loneliness/remorse. | |

| Agreed. Before there was, American Psycho, Brand New Low, or, Red, there was, Even Grable. =) Greig's falsetto is refreshing here considering they were all so young when, self=title, was released in '95. I also interpret this song other than a means of relationship (between a male & female), but also as a means of friendship that has dissolved, or, when you've lost (could be death or moved away) someone that has a great influence in your (daily) life, and you find yourself empty and unsure how to move on; my reference for this interpretation is the chorus: "What's there to say, Your reason's sound, That I'd live for, You're gone away, Not meant to stay, away" | |
