TOMORROW - U2
-------------

Tabbed by Jeremy Epp (achtungbaby@earthling.net)

Here's the bass line for Tomorrow. I won't promise that all the strings
are correct, but I'm pretty sure the notes are accurate.
It's easy to figure out the rhythms by listening to the song.

Regular Tuning

i think this is about a mother not wanting her son to join the IRA. the images of broken windows etc in the second verse lead me give that meaning to the song. one of my favorites by U2. 'october' is their second tightest album, after 'actung baby' of course

I really feel strongly that this song is about the end of the world and Jesus coming back to take his followers back up to heaven with him. When he says "Outside, somebody's outside Somebody's knockin' at the door There's a black car parked on the side of the road Don't go to the door Don't go to the door I'm going out I'm going outside, mother I'm going out there " I think he means that God is waiting for you to come to him and put your life into his hands, but that he won't force you, and that he is going, to give his life to Christ, even though he's scared. He knows that Jesus will be coming back for him, and he wants to let the whole world know how happy he is with Jesus by his side. Somewhere in here, I also think there's a darker, more depressed meaning, but I'm too afraid to look. :P -J
