The fly struck something in my head when I listen to it for the first time .... All achtung baby and zooropa tour is 'bout how crazy the world is ... (the "everything you know is wrong" sentence that appears in the video .... well for me is chilling .......). I think U2 got exactly what th 90's meant (and 21st century too) ..... Lots of information but no meaning at all (watch TV in Europe to notice it. don't know how is in the States)

this song is at it's best when performed live! The Boston and Chicago versions were the best ever. The Boston version really lets the monster out of it and Bono just sings it perfect. The Chicago version sounds like it goes back to the ZooTV tour version of it where Edge sings the chorus in a falsetto. It just plain awsome!! Really shows U2's dark side.

Its written as somebody talking on a pay-phone to somebody, hence the: Look, I gotta go, yeah I'm running outta change Plus, I read that somewhere. OMG......................if any of you haven't seen the version of it live on the Boston DVD....its so amazing, it gives me so much euphoria its..agh...no adjectives to describe.

In Bono's own words: "It's like a phone call from Hell -- but the guy liked it there."
