	'Beautiful Day' is about having faith through the bad times. The religious symbols are there. The first four lines are about Bethlehem before the birth of Christ, and the line about the bird.

	Not to nitpick or anything, but the lyric is "You love this town," not "Love is tough" (that's "Please") ;) Bono has said "Beautiful Day" is about a man who loses everything, yet he couldn't be happier. Take from that what you will...

	this song is kinda about finding beauty and happiness in everyday things. actually like it, though i'm a pessimist.
