Can't believe that I've loved this song ever since I heard it when my dad would play it when I was a little kid and we would go on long drives on the coast.

so it WAS written by neil? i heard it on his greatest hits cd and i laughed because it has a rasta feel to it and neil is the opposite of that.

This is one of the catchiest songs ever, but also the hardest to understand. I wish the lead singer would enunciate properly, but if he's supposed to be drunk, I guess his speech would be slurred. Otherwise, great song, one that I sing all the time. Great company for you when you're feeling sad.
